  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Add pepperoncini peppers and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce and peppers over it, and heat through for 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
