Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in soy sauce and honey for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a pan, cook chicken until caramelized and cooked through, set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth, bring to a simmer.
  5. Return chicken to the broth, cook for 5 minutes.
