Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in soy sauce and honey for 15 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan, cook chicken until caramelized and cooked through, set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth, bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the broth, cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve over rice garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or sugar.
- Use tofu for a vegetarian version.
