- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spicy level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with crumbled tofu or tempeh.
