- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and cocoa powder.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the flour until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra richness, add chocolate chips or walnuts.
- Best enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
