- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and minced garlic; knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet. Let rest for 15 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown, then brush with melted butter and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese to the dough.
- Ensure milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly.
