- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in soy sauce and honey, cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add vegetables and stir fry until crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.
- Pour in cornstarch slurry, cook until sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp for variety.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
