Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh or frozen green peas
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (parsley or dill)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add peas and cook for 2-3 minutes if fresh or until heated through if frozen.
- Drain and return to the pot.
- Add butter, salt, and pepper. Toss until well coated and butter is melted.
- Garnish with chopped herbs before serving.
Notes
- Can be made ahead and reheated gently.
- Use frozen peas for convenience.
