Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a saucepan, combine water and butter, bring to a boil.
  2. Add flour all at once, stir vigorously until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Spoon or pipe batter onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool.
  6. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold in sliced strawberries. Slice cream puffs and fill with strawberry cream mixture.
