- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a saucepan, combine water and butter, bring to a boil.
- Add flour all at once, stir vigorously until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Remove from heat and cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe batter onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in sliced strawberries. Slice cream puffs and fill with strawberry cream mixture.
- Garnish with additional strawberries and serve.
