- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Festive sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter and sugar, then add flour and salt until combined. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- In a saucepan, heat cream until simmering, then pour over chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Add vanilla.
- Spread chocolate mixture over the baked crust. Sprinkle with festive sprinkles.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.
Notes
- You can substitute white chocolate or add chopped nuts for variation.
