- 1 cup dried or fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and cherries.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets, spacing apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks.

- Use fresh or dried cherries based on availability for different textures.
- For a richer flavor, substitute part of the flour with cocoa powder.
