Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden brown around edges.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the baking sheet.
